• Squalane: naturally present in human skin (12-13%) to form the lipidic barrier. (drops from age 30 onwards)
  • Restores suppleness & smoothness
  • Protects skin from lipid peroxidation
  • Prevents trans-epidermis water lost

Sugar squalane is the renewable squalene which is highly pure, sustainable & stable squalene. Squalene is a component of human sebum accounts for approximately 12-13% of our sebum composition. It is produced naturally in the body. Squalene lubricates and protects our skin from lipid peroxidation. It is key to having supple, young-looking skin that is soft to touch. This production is highest in our early years and rapidly declines in our thirties, resulting in dry, wrinkled skin. We require additional squalene for skin replenishment to keep it moisturised and improved skin barrier function as we age. In clinical test it’s proven that Sugar Squalane improves water level (19%), elasticity (10%), fine lines (51.4%), smoothness (28%) & skin cycle.
